Development
Bremer Bay
With its spectacular coastal setting and a picturesque river meandering along the edge of the townsite, Bremer Bay is fast becoming a popular townsite and land is very much in demand.
In April 2005, a subdivision application for Lot 807 - 809 Mary Street/Garnett Road (Anglo Estates) was given conditional approval by the Planning Commission, resulting in the creation of 42 lots ranging in size between 605m2 - 736m2, and 1 lot of 6322m2. This development is now complete, with Planning Commission endorsement given in November 2008.
In April 2006 Planning Commission conditional approval was given for the subdivision of Lot 231 Bremer Bay Road (Seadunes Pty Ltd), creating 4 lots ranging in size between 653m2 - 779m2, and 1 lot of 1412m2 (allowing for a 4-unit development). 3,132m2 was set aside as a reserve for foreshore management and the remaining 14.5ha was divided into two separate lots for future subdivision. Work on this development is now complete, with Planning Commission endorsement given in May 2009.
In November 2008 the Planning Commission gave conditional approval for the subdivision of the remainder of Lot 231 Bremer Bay Road (Seadunes Pty Ltd) into 110 lots of sizes between 453m2 - 855m2, setting aside 4.8ha for recreation reserves. This enterprise is still under development with investigations for detailed design currently underway and completion of works required by November 2012.
